DULLINGHAM needed an 85th minute winner from Greg Crozier to beat Foxton Reserves 3-2 in Division 3A of the Cambridgeshire BIS League.
The home side, who were returning to action after a two-week break, created a host of chances in the first 20 minutes but were again guilty of fluffing their lines when well placed.
In the 30th minute, James Baston-Pitt did convert one of the many opportunities to come his way when he pounced in the box for his fifth goal of the season.
The home side should have added to their lead but went into the break just one goal to the good.
They were made to pay in 10 second-half minutes when Foxton twice scored on the counter attack to take an unlikely lead.
Baston Pitt grabbed an equaliser with 20 minutes to go when he dribbled past two defenders before sending a low shot into the corner of the net.
And Crozier, a second-half substitute, secured the three points with five minutes remaining when he volleyed home a Darren Williams cross at the far post.
Dullingham travel to Eaton Socon A on Saturday looking for their fourth league win of the season.
