FORDHAM allowed a promising position to slip from their grasp in this Kershaw League Premier Division encounter.
Leading 2-1 early in the second half, Fordham's concentration lapsed and within minutes Littleport had scored twice.

The home side were then forced to chase the game and the visitors exploited the wide open spaces to the full.

There was little to choose between the two sides in the opening half with Fordham keeper Grant Pearson making two superb saves early on, while Daren Pryke had an effort ruled out for an infringement.

Littleport took the lead after 35 minutes but, just before the interval, debutant Shane Feltwell was on hand to enable Ben Fuller to slot home an equaliser.

Early in the second half, the visiting keeper could only parry Fuller's strike and Pryke thumped home the rebound.

The away side equalised and a minute later they were in front following a raid down the right flank.

Fordham perhaps deserved more but they conceded twice after pushing forward for a leveller.
