Burwell Swifts 2, Estover Park 1

AN 11th straight victory for the season saw the Swifts progress into the next round of the Lower Junior Cup.
After a scoreless first half, which saw Estover have the better of the possession, the Swifts had to defend resolutely against the strong wind with both Steve Elmore and Darren Brodie clearing the ball off the line to ensure a clean sheet.
A tactical change at half time, with five players moving into midfield, soon paid dividends.
Within five minutes of the re-start they were a goal up when a Lol Maskell free kick was met by a fierce right-foot volley by Kev Driver, which saw the ball fly into the net.
They soon made it 2-0 when a ball into the box by Chad Mitchell was powerfully headed in by Danny Jones.
Sitting back, Swifts let Estover pull a goal back, but they hung on for their win.
