SOHAM are making a habit of winning on their travels and they did so again to pick up their first three points in four attempts against Bromsgrove Rovers.
It was the Greens who came closest to opening the scoring in the 15th minute when Hamilton cleared Carter's shot over his own bar.

Soham did take the lead four minutes later when the Bromsgrove keeper could only punch a Jones cross to the edge of the area where Scott Carter drove it into the bottom corner.

Jones himself should have doubled the advantage moments later when he latched on to a Furnell pass, but he could only lift the ball over the advancing keeper and the bar.

After the break, the home side came closest to scoring an equaliser when Deakin saw his shot from 20 yards come back off the foot of the post.

Soham made sure of the three points 10 minutes from time when Bromwich and Smith combined to play the ball through to the edge of the area where Darren Jimson curled the ball inside the right-hand post.

Soham moved up to 10th in the table with a 2-0 win at Barton Rovers on Tuesday night.

Paul Jones and Billy Smith got the goals for Ian Benjamin's side, who go into Saturday's game against Chesham United on the back of two straight wins.
